Tokyo Kaika Kyoga Meisho Wonderful woodblock printed work by Yoshitoshi
[Japan] One of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi's more playful works before his health declined and his work became very gory. The title translates to something like, 'Humorous Pictures of Famous Places in Modern Tokyo'. Yoshitoshi produced a number of prints in this series and this orihon contains twn of them. Five are dated 1881 and the other five are undated but presumably all are from that year or soon before or after.
