[Japan] Scarce guidebook published by The Welcome Society which was founded in 1893 by Eiichi Shibusawa and was the forerunner to the Japan Travel Bureau (JTB). This is the scarce second edition that was published the same year as the first edition in 1905. It appears these earliest editions were not illustrated nor contained advertisements which later editions had.
