Grand Hotel, Yokohama - Bill of Fare Menu for 18th March, 1896
[Japan] Lovely, colour woodblock printed dinner menu published by Yokohama's Grand Hotel which opened in 1873 and operated until the Kanto earthquake on 1st September, 1923. The manager at the time was Louis Eppinger (1830-1907). The inside left page shows the extensive dinner menu and the right page the wine list. The lower left corners of the inside left page and the rear page have the stamp of Iseya, presumably the company that printed the menu.
Single folded page. 24.3 x 17.1cm (when folded).
In good to very good condition. Light crease running down centre. Minor wear. Otherwise very good. e38062066
