[Japan] A stunning woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) showing Aoba Castle in Sendai at night. The moonlight reflecting off the white castle walls and the resulting shadows are superbly depicted.
Tokyo: Kawase Hasui (no other publisher listed), dated December 1937 (but this is probably a 1950s printing).
