Large Format Photo of the Nunobiki Waterfall in Kobe Early, uncoloured albumen photo
[Japan] Large format, albumen print photo showing the Nunobiki waterfall in Kobe. This is an early photo of the falls and is titled, '516 KOBE' at lower left in negative. The lettering looks to be in the style of Usui Shuzaburo and there is a known photo by Usui numbered '615 Kobe' so it is possible the numerals were reversed.
Attributed to Usui Shuzaburo. c1885. 24.4 x 19.5cm.
In very good condition. Mount slightly curved and with some marks. "Waterfall (Kobe') written in pencil on mount at lower left. nb37100020
