Cabinet Card of E.C. Patton Japanese juggler formerly of Kobe, Japan
[Japan] Somewhat mysterious cabinet card photo due to its caption on the reverse which reads, 'E.C. Patton, Formerly of Kobe, Japan "Japanese Juggler". Salem, Oregon Nov 6, 99' [1899]. We have been unable to find any reference to a E.C. Patton who was in Kobe. Perhaps he gained the title of 'Japanese Juggler' because he visited Japan and brought back a kimono with him.
