The Rutgers Graduates in Japan Personal copy of William Elliot Griffis
[Japan] Scarce, important work on the history of the earliest Japanese students who attended Rutgers University and the American graduates of Rutgers who spent time in Japan. There appears to be just one copy of the 1886 edition in Japan and only electronic versions of this 1916 edition which was published to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the university. This copy with Griffis' signature at the top of the front cover.
