Rain at Ushibori - Woodblock print by Kawase Hasui Stunning work by the shin hanga master
[Japan] One of Kawase Hasui's most impressive woodblock printed works, this is most likely a recent printing. We just wanted to have one of these regardless of its age. The rippling water, rain, and colouring are just perfect. The image was first published in 1929 and any such early printings are extremely scarce with a matching price.
