Illustrated History of Japan with 20 woodblock prints by Toyohara Chikanobu
[Japan] Orihon with 20 illustrations (10 on each side) of scenes from Japanese history. Chikanobu (1838-1912) produced some very nice, quality woodblock prints and these are no exception.

In good to very good condition. Each illustration is mounted on thick card and some of the images have separated at the edge from the backing card. The book is firm and in one piece. Some minor age wear and creasing. Small stain on rear cover. Previous owner's name, Hazama Naonosuke, written inside rear cover. b37061897
