[Japan] Scarce, large format, orihon edition of this work by Okada Matsuo and complete in one volume with 15 double-page, colour lithographs by Yamamoto Shoun (aka Matsutani 1870-1965) and Ogata Gekko (1859-1920). Bound in decorative silk covered boards, presumably as issued. It was previously published in two volumes on crepe paper.
Tokyo. Toyodo. 1906 (Japanese colophon) but 1898 on title page (stated third edition but first in this format).

In very good condition. Front board about half separated from first leaf. A little bit of darkening at edges. Otherwise very good. b37041849
