[Japan] Scarce, large format, orihon edition of this work by Okada Matsuo and complete in one volume with 15 double-page, colour lithographs by Yamamoto Shoun (1870-1965) aka Matsutani and Ogata Gekko (1859-1920). It was previously published in two volumes on crepe paper.
Tokyo. Toyodo. 1899 (Japanese colophon) but 1909 inside front cover (stated fourth edition but first in this format).
26 leaves. 25.3 x 18.4cm.
In very good condition. A few pages just starting to separate a little at top or bottom fold. Some darkening at edges and corners a touch curled. b36111727
