CDV of Japanese Child Acrobat taken in Madras, India by A.A.Hughes
[Japan] Scarce CDV showing a young, female Japanese acrobat who would have been part of an acrobatic troupe that toured India in the 1870s. Other CDVs of Japanese acrobats taken in Bombay [Mumbai] and Calcutta [Kolkata] are known to exist but this is the first taken in Madras that we have seen.
