Woodblock Print of Falconer by Kikukawa Eizan
[Japan] Wonderful woodblock printed vertical diptych of a young man, presumbaly a falconer, holding a falcon. Eizan (1787-1867) was considered the best of Utamaro's followers and produced a number of impressive works before turning to painting in his later life.

In good to very good condition. A couple of small holes at upper right edge with minor loss. Wear at edges. General age wear and minor creases. Unbacked with nice bleedthrough. u35111489
