Yamamoto and Koyoshi Japanese Acrobats Flyer with promotional info on rear, illustrated note paper, and postcard

[Japan] Wonderful group of three items of ephemera relating to the acrobatic performances of Yamamoto Kosaburo (1867-1953) and his wife Koyoshi (birth year unknown - 1921), who were equilibrists, and performed around the world in the first quarter of the 20th century. The chromolithographic flyer in French shows the two performers in action and all three images of each has them proudly wearing their medals across the centre of their kimono. The postcard (printed in Leipzig) refers to performances from 1904 so the items would date from around that time. The flyers are most likely from 1903 when they are known to have performed in France.

The flyers measure approx. 28.3 x 21.8cm.

In very good condition. The colour flyer has one 3cm closed tear at centre bottom. Minor age wear to all three items but overall very good. e35101476
