Buemon Kiryu Woodblock Printed Welcome Given to a British tourist party
[Japan] Beautiful, woodblock printed, folded sheet made for Buemon Kuryu (1853-1936), a wealthy Tokyo Stock Exchange broker. Presumably, he had such prints made to be given to a group from Britain who visited Japan and toured the exchange. Also with two single-page Japanese paper cards printed on both sides from the Osaka Hotel that were also given to members of the tour group.
Large sheet measures 38.5 x 25.8cm. Cards are each 18.2 x 11.2cm
All three items in very good condition. The large sheet has a few small marks but is still very good. nb35090002
