An Illustration of Flourishing America Woodblock printed triptych by Hiroshige II
[Japan] Wonderful woodblock printed triptych by Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-69) titled, 'Amerika Nigiwai no Zu' ['Illustration of Flourishing America'], published in 1861. Apparently, the buildings are actually based on an illutrastion of Copenhagen, Denmark, in an 1860 issue of the Illustrated London News.
