Cabinet Card of Mrs Anne P. Randolph founder of Kinjo Gakuin University
[Japan] Scarce cabinet card photo of US educator Elizabeth Anne Priscilla Edgar Randolph (1827-1902), more commonly known as Annie E. Randolph. After having lived in China, she visited an old friend in Kobe and decided Japan was good for her health. She ended up establishing an institution for ladies called Kinjo Gakuin University, which still exists today.
