Colour-Prints of Hiroshige by P. Neville Barnett
[Japan] A remarkable book, impressive in scope and size by Percy Neville Barnett (1881-1953), with 64 woodblock prints of various sizes including a number printed by Hasegawa Takejiro. It is known that Barnett ordered prints from Hasegawa and Watanabe Shozaburo for his limited edition books on ukiyoe. English vellum and linen covers with Japanese endpapers. Limited to 110 signed copies, of which 100 were for sale and this book is No. 12.

In very good condition. Some minor foxing to covers (mostly at extreme edges). Internally very good with only some minor age wear, very minor foxing, some minor staining due to the type of glue Barnett used. Otherwise very good. b35071433
