First Steps in Science with descriptions of ambrotype and Daguerreotype process

[Japan] Interesting little book that is mostly likely volume two of a series as it starts with Lesson Sixteenth. This volume tries to explain specific gravity, balloons, parachutes, spirit levels, barometers, pumps, diving bells, the eye, telescopes and, more interestingly, photography in the form of Daguerreotypes and ambrotypes. The Japanese title is, 'Rigaku Shoho'.
