Scarce guide to Japan and China with a note on Korea by Eliza Ruhamah Scidmore (1856-1928), well known for her book 'Jinrikisha Days in Japan'. The first edition was supposedly published in 1891, but this 4th edition appears to be the first edition that is actually known. Perhaps any earlier editions were published under different, or slightly different, titles.
