Hana Tsuma - Large Book of Woodblock Printed Kimono Designs by Unsodo for Matsuya Clothing Store
[Japan] Large, thick volume filled with 100 wonderful, prize-winning, colour woodblock printed kimono designs from the Matsuya Clothing Store (predecessor of the Matsuya Department Store). The artist was Yoshii Seisen. The first twelve designs are numbered as January - December in Japanese, and then 13 to 100. Complete with all tissue interleaves.

In good to very good condition. Covers quite worn with some marks and minor damage. Rear cover silk covering peeling away. Binding solid. Internally very good with only minor wear. Tissue interleaves a bit darkened but have protected the designs beautifully. b34011115
