[Japan] Important reference book for yokai, edited and written by Kyoto-based Japanese artist and printmaker, Yoshikawa Kanpo (1894-1979), who had a large collection of art. First published in two volumes in 1925-26, this is the later edition in one volume from 1936 with the cover woodblock printed by Yoshikawa. Filled with illustrations of the bizarre but fascinating world of supernatural creatures from Japan. The Japanese title is, 'Kaiga ni Mietaru Yokai'.
