[Japan] Published by the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce, Ernest Hart delivered three lectures on May 4, 11, and 18, 1886. Interestingly, the volume also comes 'With a Catalogue of the Objects Exhibited, and an Index of Japanese Artists, &c.' Printed by W. Trounce, 10, Gough Square, Fleet Street, F.C. The first lecture looks at Metals, Arms and Armour, Swords and Sword Mounts, and Sculpture in Wood. The second lecture covers Bronzes and Lacquers. The third Painting, Porcelain, and Pottery.
