Calendar for 1914 - With Greetings From... Scarce hanging calendar by Hasegawa
[Japan] Superb hanging calendar with one woodblock print for each month of the year. The prints fit nicely into the original string for easy display. Very scarce in its orginal, decorative box and inner tissue wrapper. Looks to be unused.
Tokyo. Hasegawa Takejiro. [1913].
Each leave 35.7 x 7.3cm. Box measures 43.5 x 10.5cm.
Calendar in almost fine condition with only a hint of wear. The box has some staining inside and is cracked along most joints. Still an impressive find. Gift message on cover with 'Y.S.K. Nishiwaki 1950' written in pen.
