Large format photo of Kyoto from Higashiyama Attributed to Yokoyama Matsusaburo
[Japan] Scarce, hand-coloured, bird's eye view of Kyoto that appears to have Yokoyama's label in the negative at lower left. The label is difficult to read but appears to read, 'BIRDS OF THE VIEW AT HIGASHI....', [probably supposed to be, 'Bird's Eye View...'] and the photo is numbered '69' at lower centre left.
Attributed to Yokoyama Matsusaburo. c1885.
