Large format photo of Ohato, Nagasaki with Kaientai or NYK flag (?) visible
[Japan] Unusual view of Ohato (lit. the big pier) in Nagasaki. The flag visible at the extreme right looks very similar to the flag of the Kaientai founded in Nagasaki by Sakamoto Ryomo and others (but that organisation folded in 1868). Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) has a similar looking flag and is related to the Kaientai. Titled in negative at lower right, 'G54. O'HATO, NAGASAKI'.
