Rambles Through Japan Without a Guide by Albert Tracy (pseudonym of Albert Leffingwell M.D.)

First and only edition of this interesting travel book by Leffingwell, who used the pen name Albert Tracy. With numerous illustrations although the image of Osaka is actually Kyoto and that of 'A Japanese peasant', looks suspiciously like Fukuzawa Yukichi! Decorative covers.

London. Sampson Low, Marston, & Co. 1892.

xiv, [2], 287pp[1]. 18.4 x 12cm.

In very good condition. Book plate of Robert Lemuel Greenlee inside front cover. Corners and edges a little bumped and worn. Internally very good.
