Scarce, early booklet describing a visit to one of the main silk districts in Japan. Adams was accompanied by a man named Wilkinson as well as three French men, E. Piquet, P. Brunat, and J. Davison. Brunat helped to establish the Tomioka Silk Mill in 1872.

In good condition. Light crease running down the centre. Some wear and minor spotting to front cover. Internally very good.
