Cabinet Card of Japanese military officer in uniform taken by Ueno Hikoma
Scarce cabinet card by H. Uyeno (Hikoma Ueno) of Nagasaki [Japan]. The rear shows a date of 1890 as when Ueno received an award so this photo was probably taken around 1894 and the officer most likely took part in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-95.
