Residential Rhymes Extremely scarce plain paper edition

The crepe paper edition is quite scarce but the plain paper edition, which is bigger of course, rarely ever appears. This is the first copy we have had in many years of looking. Arguably one of the most beautiful woodblock printed books published in Meiji Japan.

In very good condition. Covers have minor wear and some small areas near edges are slightly brittle. The rear cover is separated at the edge and the rear cover paper has some minor chips and one small repair at top corner. Otherwise the book is very good.
