Scarce edition of one of the Yokohama Grand Hotel's guide books by Nobushige Amenomori (aka Amamori). Previous owner's name on front cover. An S.D. Hart is listed in the 1912 Directory and Chronicle for China, Japan etc. as, 'assistant surgeon, U.S.S. “Elcano,” China Station'. The hotel manager is shown as H. E. Manwaring.
