Tokyo. Hakubunsha. 1891 (title page dated 1892 but colophon and preface dated Jun 1891).

 

36 x 26.cm. xii,[2],136 + 40 plates diagrams and 14 colour woodblock printed illustrations by Yoshitoshi and Kawanabe Kyosui.

 

Covers worn and string binding a little loose but holding. Silk covering on binding fraying. Corners slightly bumped and edges with minor chipping. Internally very good with minor wear and a few stray marks. Scarce with all colour woodblocks intact.
