Unsigned but painted by a highly skilled artist. c1850s
Painting measures 42.5 x 38.5cm (Frame 55 x 55cm)
Painting in very good original condition with minimal wear. Frame has a crack in the glass (which could be easily replaced), wear on the rear, and has been opened by a previous owner. Has old Japanese writing on rear stating, 'Nagasaki Kawa E' ['Parchment Painting of Nagasaki'].
